Treat your mum to delicious food this Mother’s Day

Mums are special, even we know that, we all have them! So, treating them on Mother’s Day is pretty important.

We’ve got some lovely ideas for treating your mum at The Old Passage, but do make sure you book in advance, as we usually get fully booked. We’d love to make Mother’s Day really special for you and your mum.

A riverside walk and heart-warming Sunday Lunch

With the weather finally getting warmer, now is the perfect opportunity to get out as a family and have a walk. The sign-posted walks in Arlingham take in the banks of the River Severn, fields, and beautiful views – it’s very peaceful. Round it off with a delicious Sunday Lunch at The Old Passage. We have a three course set Sunday lunch, as well as our a la carte menu available, so plenty of choice.

A champagne breakfast or brunch

Our Old Passage breakfast is a popular choice for Mother’s Day. What a treat to be taken out for a sumptuous breakfast, perhaps even with a glass of champagne? Our breakfasts are something truly unique, from a Full English and French toast, to oysters, lobster and champagne or our Pilots Breakfast (scrambled egg, crab, smoked salmon and lobster on toasted brioche) – you won’t be disappointed with the choice on offer. View the full menu here, which is available 9am-11am.

A special gift-voucher

If you can’t make it out on Mother’s Day or you want to give your mum a unique gift, then what about one of our gift vouchers so she can treat herself whenever she wants? We offer vouchers in any denominations of £10.00, alternatively you can buy a gift voucher for our Wine and Food Pairing Evenings, which include trying a selection of around six wines from a particular wine region, led by our wine expert Frederik, and little plates of food to match each wine. These are £32.50 per person.
